was amazing! M really liked it too! this was my second time seeing this show and i really can't say enough about it. if it comes to your town, run to get tickets; you won't be disappointed. i promise.
oh, and p.s. i'm not a big wizard of oz fan {in fact, i don't think i've ever even seen the whole movie!} so don't let your opinion about the wizard keep you away; seeing it and/or liking it is not a pre requisite!

ok. i know that i'm super late to the party with this discovery but.... have you had PB&J uncrustables? M's been telling me for months how good they are...not that i didn't believe him but, um...it's just a PB&J sandwich, what's all the fuss about? this morning i had one and now i know. i don't know if it's the cute round shape minus the crust or the soft white bread; or maybe it's some subconscious nostalgic reaction that these sandwiches invoke but, whatever it is i'm sold.
but, wait... there's more.
when i went to the official uncrustables site to get the link to post above, i spied this: GRILLED CHEESE uncrustables! has anyone had these? i'm so excited! {quick aside: i'm a big grilled cheese affciando. seriously, i order grilled cheese @ the cheesecake factory. i know, you're going 'what?' but, try it...you'll understand.}
guess who's stopping @ publix on the way home from work?
all this excitement plus, it's FRIDAY! woo hoo! could this day get any better? =)

where to start?
mom had surgery this past monday am. she developed a macular hole in her right eye a few weeks back and needed surgery to repair the defect. i'm told that it was quick and fairly painless procedure and she did great! the recovery time is a week to ten days which isn't really all that long however, during that time she isn't really able to see all that well plus she has to keep her head in a down position to faciliate the healing. i know, you're saying, "what?" it's kinda crazy but, i guess not really all the uncommon. SO. i insisted suggested that she come and stay with molly and me during the recovery since it sounded like she might need a little help with her ADL's. the days have been flying by (for me atleast!) and mom's being a real trooper. this afternoon was her first followup appointment with the MD. he was pleased with the progress she's making and said that everything was healing just as it should. {i told her that the MD also ordered a pair of pedicures this afternoon to celebrate.}
i've been feeling kinda under the weather this week myself. i think that it's just my seasonal allergies but, i've been headache-y and have had a sore throat on and off since monday. i told mom that i don't think i could handle being a parent and having to attend to another person's every need 24/7. i'm wiped out just helping her out and i'm not really doing all that much! maybe if i was feeling better i'd have more energy and not feel so wiped out.
i was thinking that i'd use my days off this week to organize my stamp room. wrong. i haven't even set foot in there. oh well....good intentions.
i'm struggling a bit with my 365 plus one photo project but, i'm not giving up! every picture might not be exactly from that day but it will be close, and maybe even more importantly every photo is one that i took and one that represents something going on in my life. the photo lab people @ target think i'm crazy, they've seen me so often!
1 more day until a new grey's anatomy! are you as excited as i am? i know, i know, it's a television show and i should really get a life; but, what can i say? =)
happy wednesday!

M was here this weekend and we were busy, busy.
friday night we stayed in and finished up moving furniture and getting the guest room ready. so glad that's done!
i was up early on saturday for an appt with jeanne @ 9:30am. after a quick manicure and wax, i was on my way back home to meet up with M and we headed out to animal kingdom for the afternoon. i hadn't been there in several years and i was glad to see that they had added a few more attractions. we did the safari ride and got to see a few animals. here are two of my favorite pics:
i love this giraffe! even though you can't see his head i like the spotted pattern and the way his neck curves around.
see the way this lion is laying? it totally reminds me of my molly. she lays this same exact way, of course, she's a dog not a cat and like 1000 times smaller but, still.
we also rode the new {to me atleast} dinosaur ride. it reminded me of the indiana jones ride out @ disnley land. it was really fun! after about 4 hours @ the park we were done and headed home.
natalie and craig joined us for dinner at the winter garden pizza company which was yummy as usual, then afterwards, we came back to my place to play some games. we tried to play catchphrase which is like password meets hot potato but, had a minor issue with the game malfunctioning so that turned out to be a bust {good thing because natalie and craig were totally kicking out butts} next was as abbreviated round of 90's trivial pursuit, harder than it sounds (craig easily won!) and finally several rounds of poker. natalie and craig play poker all the time {natalie even played in a tournament in vegas!} i've only played a few times and still don't really have all the rules down (especially when it comes to betting) luckily, craig was able to keep us all {well atleast ming and i} straight. it was totally fun! and i'm not just saying that because i beat craig! thanks for a fun night guys! we'll have to do it again soon.
what did you do this weekend?
